My favorite baby came to visit this afternoon. Here she is chewing on my coffee table. :) She's the one I'm knitting the sweater for.

Today I started working on the baby cardigan. I made the back piece and didn't make any mistakes (at least I don't think I did). I did have to rip it out about six times at the beginning because I screwed up the bottom, but once I figured out what I was doing, it went smoothly. I'm a little scared of the front panels, 'cause I have to make button holes and pockets and strange things of this nature. And then, of course, putting it all together will be another challenge in and of itself. So good so far!!

Got a call today that I was picked for a job/internship that I applied for last week! It's a really neat community pharmacy, and I know I'm going to have a great experience there.

I got some yarn for a new knitting project I'm going to try to start working on. The prospect is very exciting, but we'll see if I can actually assemble a baby sweater. It may take me until next summer to finish it, in which case it won't even fit. :)

Today instead of studying all day, like I should be, I spent some time teaching myself to knit "in the round." I'm pretty proud that I got it figured out....or at least I think I have.

They had 10 for $10 pork chops at Hy-Vee, so DH and I picked some up. We made yummy grilled pork sandwiches for lunch today. Sorry the picture is a little blurry, but I was hungry.

Iowa's first game of the year is today. We didn't tailgate or go to the game, but we walked around and checked out the sites and the crowds. Notice the long line at the port-a-potty. Also, a random drumline going down the street on its way towards the game.

So here's what I've been doing all week....reading these notes over and over and over. We had our first exam of the year today, along with a quiz over 100+ pages of reading about vaccines. I'm really happy to have a 4-day weekend ahead of me!
