My parents came to visit today and took DH and I out for lunch for my birthday (thanks!!) Because of my recent interest in knitting, Mom brought with her a sweater that my grandmother knitted her over 30 years ago. It was in great shape!! Here I am modeling it.

So there's been a spider hanging out in a corner above one of our windows. He doesn't bug me too much if he stays put. I looked up there today, and he was gone! But then I found him, and he was wrapping up a ladybug for lunch. I like to check and make sure he's still there, otherwise he might come dangling down onto me when I'm studying. If he stays in his corner, he stays alive.

I finished one-half of the front of my baby sweater. Somehow, I got it to work, and it's got a pocket and all!! I'm very excited. :)
