Happy new year! What have I been up to? Oh, just sewing some shirts for myself.

Here's the final product of my first attempt.

The sharps container where I'm on rotation....about 3 feet tall and starting to fill up. Notice all of the smaller, "normal" size sharps containers surrounding it. That's a whole lot of vaccines.

My landlady accidentally put a parking sticker on my car. Boo.

Got some of the old childhood ornaments out to decorate the tree. These old playdoh ones have developed some mold. Eww.

Tonight I watched my beautiful mother turn herself into a hideous creature to scare children seeking candy.

Here's a picture of some made-from-scratch ragu that Chef Monika cooked at our cooking class on the 20th. It was so good we decided to try making it again this weekend.

Here is our version. Turned out delicious!
