Today I went to celebrate my best girlfriend's baby turning one!! (see Jan 31, 2009). I can't believe it's already been a year since she was born. She's such a doll.

It's been raining ALL weekend, so I tried on my new "work of art" snowpants and just pretended to ski in my living room. (not really~my husband made me do it!!) I can't wait for some SNOW!!!

DH and I and some friends went to a graduate student reception tonight. There was free live music, drinks, hors d'oeuvres and art. Okay, so the GOOD drinks weren't free, but they had punch. In 2008, the Art building on campus was completely flooded along with many others. They had some 500 pieces of their collection available for us to view tonight.
